QShare is made by Alacartetools, and “I” below means Alacartetools. These are the ground rules for using the app.

Use

Use the app for anything lawful. Don’t use it to mislead people, cause harm or interfere with the app itself.

Whatever you put into a code is your responsibility.

Codes you scan

A QR code can hide almost any link or message. QShare can tell you what’s in one, but it can’t promise the content is safe or true. Check before you open a link or act on a scan.

Websites and apps reached through a code have their own terms and policies.

What’s yours and what’s mine

Your content stays yours. QShare’s code, design, name, icon and branding belong to me or my licensors. Don’t copy, modify or redistribute the app unless you have permission or the law allows it.

If you downloaded QShare from Google Play, Google’s terms apply there too.

Bugs and availability

I work to make QShare reliable, but bugs happen. I can’t promise every code will scan on every phone or that the app will always be available. Keep another copy of anything important.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I’m not responsible for losses caused by using QShare, following a scanned code or losing information stored only on your phone. Any rights the law says you keep are still yours.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains what happens to information in the app.
